NAM vs IRE Pitch Report
The surface at the MCG provides equal opportunity to the batters as well as the bowlers. While the bowlers are expected to get some early movement and extra bounce with the new ball, the batters usually enjoy their time at the venue thanks to the decent bounce and carry. The surface remains unchanged throughout the game with spinners barely getting a sniff at the stiff pitch.

NAM vs IRE Probable Top Performers
Probable best batter
Paul Stirling:
While Ireland boasts of some really talented young and upcoming superstars in their ranks, veteran opening batter Paul Stirling remains their most valuable asset in the format. The globetrotting cricketer is the fifth leading run scorer in T20Is and is one of the most exciting batters in the format. A lot will be riding on his experienced shoulders as Ireland eyes a morale-boosting victory in their first game.
Probable best bowler
Joshua Little:
Joshua Little, a left-arm medium pacer from Dublin has been at the center of all good things for the Men in Green with the 22-year-old grabbing 17 scalps in his previous ten T20Is. His ability to move the ball around at the nascent stages of the match will come in handy in the Australian conditions.
