Kohli and Rohit are massive losses, but there is enough depth in India's batting: Brydon Carse
"They've been experienced players over a number of years and, you know, world-class batters," Carse said about Kohli and Rohit.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma shocked the cricket fraternity when they announced their retirements from Test cricket midway through the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The stalwarts of Indian cricket will not be available for the five-match Test series between India and England, starting on Friday, June 20.
India will be heading into the series as underdogs, given the abundance of youngsters in the lineup. They will also have a new skipper, Shubman Gill, at the helm.
England seam-bowler Brydon Carse, who has been named in England's 14-member squad for the first Test at Headingley, Leeds, said that Kohli and Rohit would be missed but went on to highlight India's depth in the batting department. However, the 29-year-old asserted that the Three Lions are ready to take on anything that comes their way from the Asian giants.
"Look, obviously, you know, Virat and Sharma are massive losses for their batting line-up. They've been experienced players over a number of years and, you know, world-class batters," Carse was quoted as saying by India Today.
"But the depth that Indian cricket have and the quality and players coming through, you know, they will, without a doubt, put up a very strong 11 and we're ready for whatever challenge that brings," he added.
Carse has played five Tests, 24 ODIs, and 11 T20Is for England so far. He has picked up 27, 28, and 17 wickets across the three formats, respectively. Carse is also a handy batter, having the ability to score important runs lower down the order. He averages 18.80 in Tests and 19.54 in ODIs.

Karun Nair's comeback is truly commendable: KL Rahul
Coming to India's batting depth, the inclusion of Sai Sudharsan and the comeback of Karun Nair have given the fans a lot of hope. While Sudharsan finished as the Orange Cap winner in the IPL for scoring the most number of runs, Nair proved his worth in the domestic circuit by churning out runs for fun.
