India and South Africa are set to continue their ongoing T20I series as they gear up for the second T20I after the first game of the series was abandoned due to rain. However, they will hope for better weather when both sides face off at St George's Park in Gqeberha on Tuesday, December 12.

With the first T20I providing no result, it could be interesting to see how the clash on the southeastern coast fares. However, the fans will wait in anticipation to see the weather forecast for the second T20I, and it does not seem to be good news for anyone.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a 60 per cent chance of rain at St George's Park on December 12. The temperature can remain around 21 degrees Celsius; however, a slight improvement in the weather can be expected as time goes on.

St George's Park Stadium Pitch Report:

The surface at St George's Park will be expected to aid batters. A big total on the board could be quite a possibility. However, spinners could get some help as the game goes on, but opting to bat first after winning the toss could be a wise decision.

The Indian team will come into the clash after defeating Matthew Wade-led Australia in a five-match T20I series. On the other hand, South Africa last played a T20I series against Australia in August–September 2023; however, the Proteas did not win a single game against the Aussies, and they will hope that the same could change against India.

The Men in Blue will be led by Suryakumar Yadav once again, and both sides will be hoping for a clear day with no rain interruptions and a positive result from the clash.
