SRH's initial run in IPL 2025 put them on the backfoot massively. The likes of Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head did not fire the manner they had in 2024. There was only the sole trade which SRH participated in ahead of the deadline day in the form of Mohammed Shami. Shami was released to Lucknow Super Giants for a Cash Deal of INR 10 crore. It remains to be seen how the Orange Army will finetune their squad at the mini auction to pose a significant threat come the 2026 iteration.
