R Premadasa Stadium pitch report

Speaking of the pitch at the R Premadasa Stadium, the tropical environments offer a dry surface, and batters would look to make the most of the pitch. However, as the pitch gets older, it slows down, and then the bowlers could make a big impact on the game.

The spinners will look to make the most of the surface, and assistance to spin and bounce can be expected in Colombo. The visitors will aim to maintain their winning run by registering yet another win in the first ODI. On the other hand, Sri Lanka will be desperate to improve. After losing every game so far, the hosts will hope for a revival in the longer format very badly.
