Indian opener Ishan Kishan played a blistering innings of 61 off just 24 balls against Namibia, hitting six fours and five sixes at a strike rate of 254.17. In the fourth over, he smashed 28 runs off five balls off JJ Smit. Kishan also stitched a 79-run partnership for the second wicket with Tilak Varma in 31 balls, setting a strong platform for India.

Hardik Pandya was named Player of the Match for his all-round performance against Namibia. With the bat, he scored 52 off 28 balls, hitting four boundaries and four sixes at a strike rate of 185.71. He also shared an 81-run partnership for the fifth wicket with Shivam Dube in 39 balls. With the ball, Pandya took 2/21 in four overs at an economy rate of 5.20, dismissing Bernard Scholtz and Ben Shikongo, helping India secure a commanding 93-run victory.
