Pakistan are all set to host Bangladesh for a two-match Test series starting from August 21. Both sides will hope to put on their best performances to get their hands on the win. All eyes will be set on star Pakistan batter Babar Azam as he gears up for the series.
However, while practising, a ball struck Babar Azam in the groin. In the clip, which has gone viral all over social media, Babar can be seen in agonising pain.
The clip saw Babar Azam facing Khurram Shahzad in the nets, and the first out-swinger he bowled was missed by him. However, the star batter failed to read the second ball as it hit him hard in the groin area. Babar looked to be in discomfort as Shahzad came to check on him. Much to everyone’s relief, Babar did some stretching exercises and resumed his training.

Pakistan-Bangladesh looking to rack up wins for WTC standings
Speaking of the upcoming series, the first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, and both sides will be desperate to register a victory. A win for either side could go a long way in their WTC standings.
Currently, Bangladesh are in eighth place in the standings with just one win and three losses in the four Tests that they have played. The side has 12 points to their name and will hope to register their second Test win and move up in the ranks.
On the other hand, Pakistan currently occupy fifth place in the standings. Having played five Tests, the side has won two and lost the remaining three. They will hope for their third win, and it could go a long way and help them move up in the standings.
