The second match of the 2024 Women's Premier League (WPL) will witness a clash between Royal Challengers Women (BAN-W) and UP Warriorz Women (UP-W) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on February 24, Saturday.
The Warriorz had a mixed run in the inaugural season as they finished third in the five-team points table with four victories and as many losses. Bangalore, on the other hand, had a forgettable campaign as they could win just two games.
A high-scoring clash is expected when Bangalore and UP cross swords. While the batting lineups of both the teams are fairly balanced, UP's bowling lineup appears to be more diverse.
M Chinnaswamy Stadium Pitch Report
The M Cinnaswamy Stadium is known for its batting-friendly surface. It has flat wickets and small ground dimensions. The toss-winning captain is likley to opt to bowl first as chasing might be easier at this venue.
