India, after losing the third Test, will face the confident Aussies for one last time in the ongoing four-match Test series on March 9 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Team India will be looking to bounce back in the fourth Test.

A win for India would see them enter the finals of WTC for the second time and also win the series 3-1. If India either draw or lose the fourth Test then their qualification will depend on the Sri Lanka vs New Zealand Test series.

Australia, on the other hand, after an impressive win in the third Test, confirmed their WTC final appearance, becoming the third team to do so after India and New Zealand in the history of the tournament.

They would now look to carry the winning momentum so as to draw the series 2-2 in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The last time Australia won a series in India was way back in 2004.

Spinners have thoroughly enjoyed bowling on this ground with 247 wickets in 14 games played. The pacers have taken 166 wickets in as many as 14 games.

In the 14 games played at the venue four games have been won batting first and four games have been won batting second and six games have ended up in a draw. Batting first would be preferred by the team winning the toss to avoid the spin dominance after Day 3.

India have played 14 games at the venue in which they have won 6 games and lost two. Six have ended up in a draw. Australia will play their first Test match at the venue and would look to end the series on a high.
