Rohit Sharma’s best-ever performance against CSK came in the 2011 edition of the IPL during Match 25 of the season at Wankhede Stadium. The right-handed batter walked in to bat at number four with his side reeling at 13/2 after 3.4 overs. From there on, Rohit single-handedly held the innings together with his free-flowing knock of 87 off 48 balls smashing eight fours and five sixes. No other batter apart from Rohit crossed the 31-run mark as Mumbai finished the innings on 164/4 in 20 overs. The Sachin Tendulkar-led side eventually won the match by eight runs.
