ICC Cricket World Cup Super League 2023

The Super League is a brand-new ODI competition that spans two years with the goal of increasing the importance of bilateral 50-over matches. The Super League's inaugural season will assist determine which teams compete in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023, which is set to be hosted by India.

The league consists of 13 teams, including the Netherlands, who won the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship to earn a spot in this competition. Of these 13 teams, 12 are full member nations that are a part of the International Cricket Council (ICC). The CWC Super League is a crucial competition for all the teams eyeing the World Cup 2023.

Everything is dependent on how the teams finish on the Super League points chart. The top eight teams will qualify for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023. The remaining teams will go on to compete in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier alongside the five associate nations.

Then, two teams from the qualifying competition will advance to the main World Cup. India gets a direct entry to the competition on account of being the hosts of the tournament. The teams gain ten points for winning a match, five points for games that end in a tie, or even if there is no result of the game, or if the match gets abandoned. A team does not get any points after a loss.
