The cricketing trends on social media today revolved a lot around the whereabouts of the Indian cricketers who are currently spending their time in Ireland. They are all set to play the first T20 International against the home side in Dublin. Manoj Tiwary wished the former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen a very happy birthday and termed him as one of the greatest cricketers of his time. Pietersen worked as a commentator in the Indian Premier League (IPL) this year having retired from the game.

Rangana Herath lauded the effort of the Sri Lankan team who managed to win the third and final Test match of the series against Windies. The left-arm spinner couldn’t play the game because of an injury but the team did extremely well as the youngsters put up a sensational show in the day-night Test match. The former Sri Lanka cricketer Kumar Sangakkara was also thrilled with the courage shown by the cricketers and the way they fought back in the game to level the series.

RP Singh wished Dale Steyn a very happy birthday and termed him as an inspiration to all the youngsters. Steyn also received a special wish from the Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar on a special occasion and also Virender Sehwag took time out to wish the South African fast bowler. Steyn is all set to make a comeback to international with the Test series against Sri Lanka. He was included in the squad for the two-match series which is set to begin on July 12 in Galle.
