Rajasthan Royals achieved an astounding victory against the Chennai Super Kings. The win was quite important to keep their hopes alive in the tournament. The Rajasthan franchise now needs to win all their remaining games in order to make it to the playoffs.

During the game, English women cricketer Danielle Wyatt was pleased with Ben Stokes’ fielding efforts. She took off to Twitter and went on to term the all-rounder as the best fielder in the world. She has been following the IPL fluently and that’s quite visible on her Twitter feeds.

Ben Stokes hasn’t been having the best season so far. He has failed to get runs often and even his bowling hasn’t been promising. However, when it comes to the fielding department, that’s one forte which he has continued to rule.

He stopped the ball hit by Suresh Raina what seemed to be a clear boundary. While he saved just one running all the way from mid on, it went on to display the dedication on his part. Wyatt was so impressed with the effort that she tweeted, “Best fielder in the world Stokesy”

Here’s what she tweeted:-

However, for Rajasthan Royals, it was Jos Buttler who was the hero in yesterday’s game. Chasing 177 runs for victory, the England opener scored a magnificent 95 runs from 60 balls as he took Rajasthan over the finishing line. He stayed unbeaten till the end as poor lengths from the CSK bowlers also didn’t help.

The win took Rajasthan Royals to the sixth position on the points table. They cannot afford to be complacent anymore as a loss may hurt their prospects to qualify for the playoffs. Their next game against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede is certain to be a thriller as both teams compete for a spot in the next phase.
