Dhruv Shorey on Cloud 9 after engagement with girlfriend

Back in June 2018, Nitish Rana, who is currently leading Delhi in the 2018-19 edition of the Ranji Trophy, got engaged with his long term girlfriend Saachi Marwah. Even as he was over the moon at the wonderful moment, there was one more cricketer, who was equally excited for the couple, or maybe even more and it was Dhruv Shorey, Rana’s domestic teammate.
In fact, it was Shorey who confirmed the news by posting a picture of the couple. He may have attended the ceremony and congratulated his teammate for the same. Six months down the line, Dhruv also had the privilege of getting engaged with girlfriend Ridhimaa. The cricketer posted an adorable picture of the couple and seemed on Cloud 9 following the memorable happening.

Shorey’s short career in brief
At the age of 26. Dhruv doesn’t have an illustrious career, but he has done reasonably well in the limited chances he has been presented with. The Delhi-born cricketer made his first-class debut back in 2015. However, last season, he had a stupendous run. He was third highest run-scorer for Delhi in the Ranji Trophy, having scored a significant 593 runs in nine matches at an average of 51.12.
The right-hander notched one century and as many as four half-centuries. The performance also earned him a place in the prestigious Indian Premier League (IPL). He was listed in the auction at a base price of INR 20 lakhs and was picked up at that price by the Chennai Super Lings (CSK), captained by the enigmatic MS Dhoni.
However, he got only one match to show his prowess with the bat. Dhruv could only score eight runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at MCA Stadium in Pune. Nevertheless, he has been retained by the franchise. In the ongoing Ranji Trophy, he has already scored a ton against Himachal Pradesh.
