The Tigers have been victorious in both their matches and are in second place. The Dragons have won two out of three games and are in first place.

The Dragons’ last match against the Mysore Warriors was abandoned due to rain. They defeated the Shivamogga Lions by 29 runs in their second game. The Lions elected to bowl after winning the toss, and the Dragons made 179 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Sharath BR was the highest scorer and made 70 runs off 31 deliveries. In reply, the Dragons could make only 150 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Kranthi Kumar was the pick of the bowlers for the Dragons and took five wickets for 36 runs in four overs. He won the Player of the Match award for his bowling performance.

The Tigers faced Bengaluru Blasters in their previous match and won the toss and elected to bowl. The Blasters scored 225 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. Yash Raj Punja was the pick of the bowlers and took three wickets for 43 runs in four overs. Mohammed Taha led the chase for the Tigers and remained unbeaten on 101 runs off 54 deliveries. The Tigers reached the target of 226 runs on the last delivery of their innings and won the match by two wickets. Taha won the Player of the Match award.
