In the 15th match of the Indian Premier League 2026, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will take on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Kolkata Knight Riders haven't had a good start to the season, losing their first two matches. Their last match against the Punjab Kings was washed out due to rain, leaving them with just one point in the season.
On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants did perform well in their last match. They secured a 5-wicket win against Sunrisers Hyderabad, their first win of the season. Batting first, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a total of 156 runs. Chasing this, Lucknow got a good start as Aiden Markram scored 45 runs off just 27 balls while Rishabh Pant played a match-winning knock of 68 runs off just 50 balls to get a comfortable 5-wicket win.
Apart from this, the bowling from Lucknow Super Giants was also excellent, especially by Mohammed Shami, who took two wickets for 8 runs in four overs. Additionally, Prince Yadav and Avesh Khan were also successful in getting two wickets each, due to which the Sunrisers failed to score a big score.
