The Montreal Tigers had a horrendous campaign back in the inaugural edition of the Global T20 Canada. They couldn’t progress beyond the first round after winning only a couple of games. This time around, they have the likes of Fawad Ahmed, Kyle Coetzer and a few other explosive players and that helped them to start with a victory over Winnipeg Hawks. In their second game, they would be facing the Brampton Wolves.

The Wolves, on the other hand, came in place of CWI B team and would be hoping to kick start their campaign on a winning note. The ever so experienced Shahid Afridi is their skipper. Also, with the likes of Colin Munro, Wahab Riaz and Darren Sammy in their ranks, the Wolves look a formidable unit. All in all, a cracking game of cricket can be expected at the CAA Centre, Brampton, Ontario.

Match Details

The 4th match of the Global T20 Canada 2019 will be played between Montreal Tigers and Brampton Wolves at the CAA Centre, Brampton, Ontario.

The match starts at 04:30 PM local time (July 27) (02:00 AM IST- July 28) (8:30 PM GMT).

This game will be live on Star Sports and live streaming is available on Hotstar.

Pitch Report

The first impression of the Brampton pitch was slow and turning track but as the tournament progressed, the batsmen are finding it easy once they are set. The short boundaries here do nullify the double paced nature of the track if there is any.

Expert Advice:

There are three players in the wicket-keepers category – Dinesh ChandimalMatthew Cross and Andre Fletcher. However, Cross seems to be the only player among the three to be part of the playing XIs. Fletcher might not make it to Brampton’s XI due to the overseas players limit.

Probable Winners:

Montreal Tigers might get some tough fight from Brampton Wolves on their way to another win.
