Dwayne Bravo is one of the most entertaining cricketers going around in the world. He prefers playing in the T20 leagues all over the world and is currently plying his trade in the inaugural edition of Global T20 Canada after enduring a successful Indian Premier League (IPL) for Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The Caribbean cricketer is sporting a changed jersey in Canada while leading Winnipeg Hawks franchise.

It has become a norm among the players to change the name on the jerseys as they prefer to have a short name on their back. Bravo is also in the same league as he is normally seen wearing the CSK jersey with D.J. Bravo written on his yellow shirt for the franchise. Normally, he is seen donning the jersey number 47 but the name on the back was changed interestingly.

Dwayne Bravo was seen sporting the jersey with the name ‘Champion’ which is the name of his first-ever song which he released during 2016 World T20 in India. He is indeed a Champion cricketer as the 34-year-old all-rounder has scaled unparalleled heights in the shortest format of the game. So far, he has played 391 T20s and has picked a massive 427 wickets while also scoring 5644 runs.

Bravo in GT20

Bravo is leading Winnipeg Hawks in the T20 tournament and has won a single game after playing a couple of matches. In the recent game against Vancouver Knights, he brought his ‘A’ game to the fore by scoring 30 off just 17 deliveries which helped his team propel to a decent total of 156 runs. He also bowled well in the second innings and scalped a crucial wicket of Babar Hayat.

Unfortunately, the score they had put up on the board was not challenging enough as Chris Gayle and his men gunned it down in the 18th over. It will be important for them to hit the straps soon and gain the winning momentum back.
