Pant doesn’t know where he is hitting, says Ishant Sharma

Amidst this, Delhi Capitals made a special video with their leading pacer, Ishant Sharma. The franchise had collected questions from their fans and Ishant was told to answer them. During this Q&A session, the pace bowler was asked several questions by the fans. These questions included all sorts of on and off the field questions.

During the interaction, one of the questions which asked to him was, “Who is the toughest batsman to bowl in the Delhi Capitals’ net session?” The Delhi pacer named his teammate Rishabh Pant as the toughest batsman to bowl in the nets. The 31-year-old pacer also gave a hilarious reason for the same.

He said that it is difficult to bowl at Pant as he often doesn’t know where he is hitting the ball hence the ball could hit him on his head. “I think, to be honest, everyone is fine except Rishabh Pant. Because he doesn’t know where he is hitting. He might hit straight on your head as well,” Ishant Sharma said. One of the fans had also asked about Ishant’s idol. To this, the tall fast-bowler picked former Australian pacer, Glenn McGrath.
