Nepal’s nerves would have surely settled down after a big win against Kuwait on Saturday which more or less confirmed their qualification to the 2020 T20 World Cup Qualifiers. They will take on the home team Singapore in the last game of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Region Final. Two wins and a wash out fetched five points for Singapore across three matches which made them the first side to seal the qualification berth.

On the other hand, Nepal has won their previous two matches after losing their first game against Qatar. Nepal chased down the target of 142 against Kuwait in only 15.5 overs to improve their NRR. At the same time, Qatar took 19.4 overs to chase down 145 against Kuwait and made no efforts to improve the NRR. Nepal, in worst possible scenario, have to ensure that they don’t lose by anything more than 60 runs against the hosts.
