The 3rd Quarter-Final in the Plate League of the 2020 ICC Under-19s World Cup will be played between Zimbabwe Under-19s and Canada Under-19s at the North-West University No.2 Ground in Potchefstroom.
The match starts at 10:00 AM local time (1:30 PM IST) (8:00 AM GMT)
Zimbabwe Under-19s are set to face Canada Under-19s in the Plate League Quarter-Final match on Tuesday. The winner of the match will move close to finishing at No.9 position while the loser will be pushed to playing for 13th to 16th places. Zimbabwe would consider themselves to have played below their potential consider their performances in the pre-tournament matches. They nearly defeated Pakistan while chasing 280+; a win which could have pushed them into the quarters.
High temperatures are expected at the Potchefstroom’s North-West University No.2 Ground on Tuesday.
The North-West University No.2 Ground hosted the match between Sri Lanka and Nigeria on Monday. It was the first-ever Youth ODI at this venue. As expected, Sri Lanka posted a big total of 306 and won it by 230+ runs. The venue did host a couple of matches during the 2018 U19 CWC Qualifiers where most of those were low-scoring matches. The Zimbabwe-Canada game could give a better idea of the pitch at this venue.
Average first innings score: 306 (This tournament)

Zimbabwe Under-19s are likely to pick the XI that faced Bangladesh and Pakistan. They made few changes for the match against Scotland but given the importance of this match, they will be looking to field a full-strength line-up. Going by potential and experience, the Zimbabwe team is likely to dominate Canada. Hence, a minimum of six players from Zimbabwe is needed in the fantasy team.
Zimbabwe Under-19s are expected to win this fixture against the Canada team.
