Team India will take on South Africa in a five-match T20I series starting at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi on June 9 (Thursday). It must be noted that the Men in Blue will be without the services of some prominent players including Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and senior pacer Jasprit Bumrah.
With few big names missing from the squad, the leadership role has been handed over to the wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant. Similarly, senior all-rounder, Hardik Pandya has been appointed as vice-captain of the Indian squad. Talking about South Africa, the Proteas have announced a formidable squad with the likes of Quinton de Kock, Aiden Markram, David Miller, Kagiso Rabada, and Tabraiz Shamsi included.

In bowling, veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has grabbed the most wickets (10), followed by Bhuvneshwar Kumar (eight wickets) and Junior Dala (seven wickets)
