Shakib Al Hasan has effortlessly been one of Bangladesh’s greatest cricketers to have played the game. The Khulna-cricketer has grown leaps and bounds over the years and subsequently has carved a reputation as a dependable cricketer. He also has played a fair amount of cricket in the Indian Premier League representing the Kolkata Knight Riders.

He was bagged by the franchise in 2011 for $4.25 Lakhs. However, KKR released him after the 2014 season only to buy him back for the 2015 season. He has been playing T20s for various franchises across the globe and is a veteran in this format. Going into the eleventh season, the all-rounder has a whopping base-price of 100 Lakhs and the franchises might enter into a bidding war to grab the all-rounder. What happens for Shakib in the IPL 2018 auction remains to be seen.
