This time it was the legendary AB de Villiers at the receiving end. CSK chose to bowl at the Chinnaswamy after winning the toss. RCB put up a total of 205 on the board which the RCB bowlers couldn’t defend showing their plight this season.

Batting first, RCB got a good start from Quinton de Kock who scored 53 off 37. But the highlight of the innings came from AB de Villiers who scored 68 off just 30 to take his team off to a flyer. He hit 8 massive sixes in his innings which also included a 111m six, the longest six this season. Mandeep Singh played a small cameo of 32 from 17 balls to take the side past 200.

However, the deafening Chinnaswamy was silenced by heroics from MS Dhoni. Dhoni was at his vintage best in this game. He scored 70 off 34 to take his team through in the last over in what was a thriller.
