IPL 2018: Rajasthan Royals – Approaching Milestones

Rajasthan Royals, coming back to the IPL after serving two year-ban, will be playing under a new captain Ajinkya Rahane in the absence of Steven Smith. Rajasthan won the inaugural edition of the IPL entering as underdogs but failed to repeat the success in the next seven editions. The franchise made successful attempts at regaining players from the RPS squad and also brought the recent overseas sensations in the auctions.

All the approaching milestones of the RR players to be looked out ahead of the IPL 2018:

IPL and Twenty20 career milestones:

50 – Heinrich Klaasen needs to feature in one more game for completing T20 appearances. Jofra Archer and Dushmantha Chameera need nine and ten appearances respectively for completing 50 games as a player. Ankit Sharma (42 wickets) needs eight more wickets for completing 50 T20 wickets.

100 – Ben Stokes needs eight more T20 appearances while Jaydev Unadkat needs five more T20s for completing 100 Twenty20s as a player.

186 – Jos Buttler needs to hit 14 more sixes for completing 200 sixes in the T20 format. He needs 18 more sixes for completing 400 sixes across all the formats. Heinrich Klaasen needs four more for completing 50 T20 sixes.

749 – Sanju Samson aggregated 749 runs for the Rajasthan Royals between 2013 and 2015 in 38 IPL games. He needs 251 more runs for completing 1000 IPL runs for RR.

806 – Prashant Chopra needs 194 more runs for completing 1000 runs in the T20 format.

966 – D’Arcy Short needs to score 34 more runs for completing 1000 T20 runs. He needs to hit four more fours for completing 100 fours and six more sixes for 50 sixes in the Twenty20 format.

Professional career milestones:

198 – Number of wickets for Shreyas Gopal in his professional career. He needs two more wickets for completing 200 wickets across all formats.

2953 – Rahul Tripathi needs 47 more runs for completing 3000 runs in his professional career.

7000 – Stuart Binny (6965 runs) needs 35 more runs for completing 7000 runs in his professional career. Sanju Samson (6742 runs) needs 258 more runs for completing the same milestone.

11723 – Runs Ben Stokes scored in his professional career so far. He needs 277 more runs for completing 12000 runs across all formats.

12932 – Jos Buttler needs to score 68 more runs for completing 13000 runs in his professional career.
