The Delhi Capitals (DC), after winning all their last three away games, will return home to face the in-form Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium. It will surely be a mouth-watering clash with the second place in the points table up for grabs. Moreover, the team winning this battle will get take one step closer to qualifying for the playoffs and it would mean a lot to both the sides having knocked out early in the last season.

The Capitals have definitely punched above their weight this season but will have to continue in the same momentum for the rest of the season. Their bowlers were exceptional against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) as they registered the first instance of the overseas bowlers taking all 10 wickets in the IPL. The batsmen are just doing enough but the team management would want them to be consistent in terms of notching up big scores now.

MI, on the other hand, overcame the spirited Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at home to start the week on a winning note. Even they have peaked early this time and it is only the case of one of their players stepping up at the right time on the day. The likes of Kieron Pollard, Quinton de Kock and Lasith Malinga among others can win matches single-handedly and the time has come for Rohit Sharma, their skipper, to fire.

Their head coach recently hinted at Rahul Tewatia returning to the team and if that is to happen, Amit Mishra might make way. Colin Ingram was blessed with the second child and is yet to join the team it seems. Having said that, Colin Munro did well in his absence and is likely to continue even after Ingram returns.

They might go in unchanged for this game but could be tempted to play an extra spinner given the way surface at Kotla behaves.
