The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have been quite inconsistent in the last couple of matches as they won only two of their last six games. With five wins after ten matches, they need at least three more for making it to the playoffs. In the absence of Jonny Bairstow, the SRH team needs to find a new opener and collaborate quickly. They will now be up against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) who are in requisite of winning all the remaining three matches. RR also are hoping for the results of other matches to go in their way for making it to the final four.

All the key stats and numbers that matter ahead of the clash between Rajasthan and Hyderabad in Jaipur:

4 – The Sunrisers Hyderabad have defeated the Rajasthan Royals in each of their last four matches in the IPL. They successfully chased down the target of 199 during the home fixture against RR this season.


5 – David Warner is one of the five players to have scored fifty or more in five consecutive innings. His scores in his last five innings read 57, 67, 50, 51 and 70*. No player has scored six consecutive fifty-plus scores in the T20 format.


5Ashton Turner has bagged a duck in each of his last five innings in the Twenty20 format making him the first such player. He has golden ducks in all the three matches in the IPL. Turner was dropped from the game against KKR but is expected to return into the playing XI after the departure of Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer.


37.83 – Steve Smith has a batting average of 37.83 in the IPL against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Smith has scored 227 runs across seven IPL innings against SRH with the help of a fifty.

Sanju Samson also averages 37.5 against SRH in the IPL after his unbeaten 102 in the away fixture at the start of the season. He scored 375 runs against Sunrisers in the T20 tournament across 13 innings.


48 – Number of wickets Rashid Khan has taken in the IPL; all for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. He needs two more wickets to become the 2nd player after Bhuvneshwar Kumar (104) to bag 50 wickets in the IPL for SRH.
