Whom to pick between MS Dhoni and Nicholas Pooran in your fantasy team?
Updated - May 6, 2019 4:52 pm
The match 55 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) has nothing much to offer in terms of the playoffs qualification. Yes, the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) are still in contention mathematically but even they would know it is near impossible for them to recover with the kind of net run-rate they possess at the moment. Moreover, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are their opponents who are going strong and are at the top of the points table.
The KXIP have been making changes almost every match and Ravi Ashwin will be hoping to sign off from the tournament with a win. Andrew Tye is likely to make way for Hardus Viljoen while the youngster Arshdeep Singh could be dropped as well for Ankit Rajpoot. The Men in Yellow are unlikely to make any changes to their side unless one of the players needs rest or is injured.
The 55th game of the IPL between KXIP and CSK will be hosted by Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali.
The match starts at 04:00 PM local time (10:30 GMT).
The game will be live on Star Sports in India. (Live streaming on Hotstar).
The 4 PM start to the game means it will be too hot in Mohali. The temperature is expected to hover in the 40s while there is no rain in the forecast. Having said that, it will get cloudy around 6 PM but even then the heavens won’t open up according to Accuweather. There won’t be much dew as well which can make things easy for both the teams.

The pitch for the game between KXIP and KKR was a belter. Another similar surface is expected to be dished out this time as well. But with the sun beating down, there might be a little bit of help to the spinners as well.

Chris Gayle is due a big knock and it won’t be a bad option to make him captain in one of your teams.
CSk are back in form with the return of their skipper MS Dhoni and they are expected to win.
