The excitement amongst fans to make their fantasy teams would be zippy during IPL 2021. Each year the fans, while making their fantasy teams, often start first by selecting their star players, but when it comes to picking some uncapped players they often get dubious.

That’s mainly because these uncapped players are either not well known about their achievements in domestic cricket or might enter the prestigious IPL as a complete surprise package with almost no domestic record.

However, from the last few seasons onwards, these uncapped cricketers are not just turning to be vital cogs of their IPL team, but a few of them are now on the verge of grabbing their potential India shirt. These few uncapped proponents have transpired so well that they hardly get swayed from the team even if there’s a sturdy overseas player present in line to replace them.

IPL 2021 Season Fantasy League: 5 uncapped players to pick in your team:

1. Devdutt Padikkal

Last year, Devdutt Padikkal’s batting was one of the top reasons why RCB had soared into the playoffs after a very long time. His paring with Aaron Finch became a revelation for the franchise as Padikkal, in his debut season, played all 15 games for RCB and scored a total of 473 runs at an average of 31.53. His risk-free stroke play batting looked highly effective for RCB especially during the power plays, eventually giving the team some vigorous starts.

Overall, Padikkal, in the IPL 2020, turned out to be a budding star for RCB chiefly when other batters collectively looked bleak. However, with also being the Emerging Player of the year in IPL 2020, yet again before the IPL, Padikkal has piled up a big mountain of runs in the recently concluded VHT games. Out of his seven matches, Padikkal emerged as the second-highest run-scorer by amassing a profusion of 737 runs at a colossal average of 147.50.

Hence, by entering into the IPL 2021 with a plethora of form and runs, Padikkal can be an excellent choice to have in one’s IPL fantasy team. He is already an established opener at the top and now will further his enjoy batting by opening with skipper Virat Kohli. Therefore, just like his reliable batting, Padikkal can be a reliable proponent in your fantasy teams.
