Preview
Afghanistan (AFG) and Bangladesh (BAN) will face each other in the 1st T20 match of the series, scheduled to start on Thursday at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah, UAE. Afghanistan is supposed to be the second-best team in Asia, but they did not perform well in the recent Asia Cup 2025. Due to their disappointing performance, they were eliminated from the Asia Cup in the first round.
On the other hand, Bangladesh also did not perform as their fans expected from them in the recent Asia Cup 2025. They won just one game in the Super Four stage. However, their record against Afghanistan is excellent in the last 2 years. This series will be important for both teams to make their preparations strong ahead of the T20 World Cup next year.
