Preview
Australia will take on South Africa in the opening match of the T20I series which starts on August 10. This match will be played at Marrara Cricket Ground in Darwin. These two teams have not met in T20Is since 2023 and this series is very much a stepping stone to the next global tournament in February's T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka. Australia have recently completed a 5-0 sweep of West Indies. Matt Short will miss the first two games of the series. Marsh and Head will open for this match.
