England Women will take on the West Indies Women in the second ODI of the three-match series on Wednesday, June 4, at Grace Road in Leicester. England has been on a winning run in the series. The Nat Sciver-Sciver-led side whitewashed the West Indies in the T20I series.

In the first ODI, Tammy Beaumont and Amy Jones added 222 runs for the first wicket and scored a century each. It was the fourth-highest partnership for the first wicket for the English side in WODIs. Skipper Sciver-Brunt made 52 runs off 36 deliveries and led the team to a total of 345 runs for the loss of six wickets.

The West Indies had a decent start to their chase as Hayley Matthews and Qiana Joseph added 91 runs for the first wicket. However, the other batters failed to capitalize on the start. Aaliyah Alleyne scored 44 runs off 46 deliveries. No other batter managed to score more than 20 runs for the team. The West Indies were bundled out for 237 runs and lost the match by 108 runs. Linsey Smith was the pick of the bowlers for England and took five wickets for 36 runs in 10 overs.
