Preview
Pakistan Women will take on Ireland Women in the second match of the T20I Series on August 8. This match will be played at Clontarf Cricket Club, Dublin. Ireland won the opening match of the series by eleven runs and are currently leading the series 1-0. They scored 142 runs while batting first and it proved to be an above par total as Pakistan captain Fatima Sana finished with four wickets.
It looked an above par total at the halfway stage. Pakistan struggled with the bat and started very slowly along with losing wickets at crucial times. They could not form any substantial partnerships and apart from Natalie Pervaiz no one could get going. Orla Prendergast was the player of the match for her all-round performance. Pakistan were lacklustre with both bat and ball in the opening match and will need to improve a lot to put up a better performance
