Preview
In the 7th T20 match of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, Scotland (SCO) is set to face Italy (ITA). Scotland started the tournament on a losing note, as they lost their first game by 35 runs to the West Indies. Chasing a target of 183, Scotland was all out for only 147. However, captain Richie Berrington played a brilliant innings, scoring 42 off 24 balls. Brad Currie also bowled well, claiming two wickets for 23 runs in four overs.
On the other hand, Italy made history by earning its first T20 World Cup spot through an impressive performance in the European Regional Qualifiers last year. Led by captain Wayne Madsen, they have the potential to perform strongly and aim to cause significant upsets against top teams.
