This CrickingDuels Fantasy guide is for the match 35 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season which will be played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The Men in Yellow are in a spot of bother after losing two out of last three matches. They totally underperformed against Kolkata the other night and more importantly were lacklustre in the field. Virat Kohli’s team, on the other hand, are in need of a victory as well and the blockbuster clash will see a lot of runs scored.

The MCA International Stadium has offered a flat deck so far in all the matches which have been played here and it will be no different for this game. Both the teams have some wonderful players and it will be a perfect weekend for the crowd. The spinners might come into play later in the day but it is generally a tough venue to defend. Here we bring to you the CrickingDuels Fantasy guide for the game:

Chennai Super Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

Batsman

Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers undoubtedly should be in my side for their exploits in the tournament so far. Ambati Rayudu is the other batsman I can have in my team given his recent form. Now for the fourth batsman, unfortunately, I cannot go for Suresh Raina as it will be an issue going forward with the credits and so I have picked Faf du Plessis as he is due a big innings after 3 outings. If someone wants to include Raina in the team, one of Kohli and De Villiers will have to be excluded from the team which is extremely tough.

All-Rounders

Shane Watson has to be there in the team with the form he is in and Pune seems to be his favourite venue this year. His only century of the season has also come here only and the former Australian would be itching to score more. I have picked Colin de Grandhomme in the team only because he bowled in the last game and is expected to continue doing the same. His sixes in the last over proved to be game-changing and a couple of wickets here and there will give me a lot of points.

Wicketkeeper

Quinton de Kock will miss this game as he has gone back home to attend a wedding and Parthiv Patel will replace him in the team. But nobody knows how he will fare which makes the selection of MS Dhoni all the more simple for me here. He is also in terrific form for his team and is playing with the strike-rate of almost 170.

Bowlers

Tim Southee and Mohammed Siraj are the two bowlers from RCB side which I will prefer to pick who bowled wonderfully at the death in the last match. They have more chances of getting wickets as well which will churn out more points for me. Lungi Ngidi is another bowler who has impressed and has the capability of striking with the new ball. Harbhajan Singh is the only other certain starter in the bowling department of CSK  and that is why it is better to have him in the team who will at least not go for runs.
