This CrickingDuels Fantasy guide is for the match 36 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season which will be played between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Delhi Daredevils (DD). Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium will host the game with the visitors in a must-win situation. Every game is like a knock-out game for them now and a loss at any stage of the tournament will end their season. SRH, on the other hand, are sitting pretty at the top of the points table and they would love to consolidate their position.
As far the venue is concerned, the surface has been on the slower side this year for few matches and it might continue to be the same which suits the home side. Their bowlers have defended the totals like 118, 132 and 151 this season as they thrive under difficult circumstances. Delhi though should be careful who are coming off a victory by hitting sixes in the small Stadium in Delhi. But their in-form batsmen should continue ruling the opponents. Here we bring to you the CrickingDuels Fantasy guide for the game:
Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Delhi Daredevils
Batsman
Kane Williamson and Shikhar Dhawan are the players whom I will pick here from SRH side as one is in great form and the other might tee off after failing in the last few matches. Unfortunately, I am not going for Alex Hales as there are two more talented Indian batsmen in Delhi camp. I will select Prithvi Shaw and Shreyas Iyer both in my team as conditions don’t matter for them to score runs. Also, just to be on the safer side, it is better to go with Manish Pandey who is playing some crucial knocks in the middle-order for SRH and can churn out more points for me.
All-Rounders
Two all-rounders are needed to be picked in the fantasy team according to the rules which forcefully makes me go for Shakib Al Hasan and Glenn Maxwell. The reason for saying forcefully is none of them is in form. While Shakib is doing fine with the ball, the Australian has been failing miserably with the bat this season. But both are champion cricketers and if they regain their form, can turn the game on their own. Maxwell is more threatening in that case who has the capability to play the game-changing knocks.
Wicketkeeper
Hyderabad side is not using utilising the Wriddhiman Saha properly and he is of no use to Fantasy teams unless he bats at the top of the order. Anyways, I would’ve gone for Rishabh Pant based on current form. He has lit up the IPL with his trailblazing knocks and is also amongst the highest run-getters this season. He needs to continue in the same vein for his team to win back-to-back matches.
Bowlers
The bowling attack of the home side is better and it is good to have Rashid Khan and Siddarth Kaul in my side. The leggie from Afghanistan remains a mystery for the batsmen and Kaul has been a revelation for them since last year. Trent Boult won the game for Delhi a couple of days ago and is key with the new ball which can give vital points to me. He also gets wickets at the death and no wonder many users must have picked him.
