Matthew Hayden, during his heydays on the 22 yards, used to send shivers down the spines of the bowlers. Even the opposition captains used to get worried after watching the batsman unleash his strokes. He has now retired from the game but still keeps himself in touch with it by commentating in different matches. However, Hayden was recently involved in an accident and has suffered a horrific injury near his head.

The former Australian cricketer himself shared the pictures of his injury on his official Instagram handle to let his fans know about the same. He had gone for surfing on Straddie Back Bank with his son Joshua Hayden and possibly lost his balance to sustain an injury to his head.
