Former Australian cricketer Michael Clarke and his girlfriend Pip Edwards have gone public with their relationship. The couple has shared a number of photos from their family gateway. Clarke, the 2015 World Cup-winning skipper, and Edwards are currently enjoying their holiday in Noosa.

They are spending the quality time with children from their previous marriage- Edwards’ son Justice, 13, and Clarke’s four-year-old daughter, Kelsey Lee. Edwards shared a picture where they were laying on the beach. Edwards was seen laying across Clarke’s chest, soaking in the sun.

Earlier, Edwards also shared a picture where they were going to the airport with son Justice at the backseat. She had kept their relationship private for a while before she spilled the beans during a radio chat with rugby league journalist Phil Rothfield. Edwards is the co-founder of PE Nation activewear.

Michael Clarke and Kyly Clarke divorce

Previously in February, Clarke and Kyly Clarke announced their decision to separate after staying in the wedlock for as many as seven years. “After living apart for some time, we have made the difficult decision to separate as a couple, amicably,” they said at the time of divorce.

“With the greatest of respect for each other, we’ve come to the mutual conclusion that this is the best course for us to take while committed to the co-parenting of our daughter,” they added.

In a recent interview, Clarke talked about his life following the divorce and the speculations of his relationship with Edwards. He said that he “wouldn’t change a thing” about his life. He also understands the importance of staying ‘private’ in their relationship.

“I have always tried to keep my personal life as private as I possibly can and right now is no different,” Clarke was quoted as saying in Daily Telegraph.

As far as his cricket career is concerned, he retired after Australia’s Test against England at the Kennington Oval back in August 2015. He made his national debut back in 2003 and his career spanned 12 years. In 115 Tests, 245 ODIs and 34 T20Is, he managed 8,643, 7,981 and 488 runs respectively. He was also a handy part-time bowler with three five wicket hauls.
