MS Dhoni today was seen in a very different avatar today at the launch of the Indian Super League (ISL). Fans were today surprised to see Dhoni turn out in a completely short haircut for the opening ceremony at Guwahati. It was surprising to see him in this form all of a sudden.
The co-owner of the Chennaiyin FC participated in the ceremony wearing his team’s jersey alongside other franchise owners. The ISL kick started today with the Northeast United taking on the Kerala Blasters.
But, before the action began, there was a glittering opening ceremony which was marked by the presence of Bollywood celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez.
John Abraham was joined by Abhishek Bachchan, MS Dhoni, and Sachin Tendulkar and together the biggies read the ISL pledge on the stage. Later, the team owners signed the pledge ball.

The celebrities group later took a selfie of memories with ISL founding chairperson and India’s IOC member Mrs. Nita Ambani, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, P V Sindhu, Ranbir Kapoor, John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan, MS Dhoni and Jacqueline Fernandez. Dhoni, as usual, was standing behind in the corner.
This is perhaps the second time when Mahi, whose long locks were a fashion rage in 2007, has shortened his hair like a military man. Soon after winning the world cup, MS Dhoni was seen in a similar sort of hairstyle at the TAJ hotel in Mumbai to click photographs with the trophy which he won with the famous last ball six in the finals against Sri Lanka.
