Two run-outs at the early stage of the game pushed them a lot behind against a side like Karachi Kings. However, they did come back with the ball later and managed to get the game into the Super Over. Sohail Tanvir was the only performer who kept them alive with both bat and ball. However, they would still like to go with the same XI as they did nothing wrong after the first innings powerplay. Multan topped the points table in the league stage and are now expected to bounce back for their maiden PSL title.

On the other side, Lahore is definitely the more confident side coming into this game with winning momentum. They are looking dangerous with an in-form bowling attack, led by Shaheen Shah Afridi. They also have a deep and experienced batting order which stood up tall after a top-order collapse at the early stage of the chase, 33 for 3.

Mohammad Hafeez knew he was timing the ball well and did half of the job in a proper calculative way before David Wiese smashed two consecutive sixes to finish things off with an over left. Overall, it was a complete team performance from the Qalandars and are now expected to get through to their first PSL Final.
