'Out of practice' Malti Chahar plays cricket in extreme heat

Deepak Chahar was one of the finds of the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) season as he impressed many while playing for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). His ability to swing the new ball had made him the skipper MS Dhoni’s go-to bowler in the powerplay during the tournament. Along with him, his sister Malti Chahar was also under the spotlight who was always seen in the stands supporting the Men in Yellow. However, she was seen practising candidly on Sunday in the Chahar Cricket Academy and took a few throw downs.

Her identity was not known to many earlier when the cameraman first spotted her on the screen and her reactions had gone viral. There were also a few hilarious memes created by the fans as they called him the Parle-G girl. Malti thoroughly supported CSK during the season and witnessed most of the victories of her favourite team from the Stadium. She was also present at the Wankhede Stadium when they lifted the title famously for the third time in the history of the tournament.

Malti plays in the scorching heat

Malti Chahar is currently in Agra where the Chahar Cricket Academy is situated and she decided to take a few throw downs. She padded up and played a few deliveries in the scorching heat. While some of her shots were really good with brilliant footwork, she got drained out soon. Malti soon realised that she will not be able to play more. However, she posted the video of the same for her fans and applauded the efforts of all the cricketers who give their 100 percent in extreme conditions in all the departments of the game.

Interestingly, her younger brother Rahul Chahar was also part of the Mumbai Indians (MI) squad but he warmed the bench unfortunately and didn’t get an opportunity to showcase his skills this year.
