New Zealand will kick-start their ICC T20 World Cup 2021 campaign against a highly confident Pakistan side. The encounter takes place at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on October 26. Having defeated arch-rivals India by 10 wickets in their opening fixture, Pakistan would be high on confidence and they would be determined to extend their sensational run against the Kiwis as well. Speaking of the Kane Williamson-led side, they lost to Australia and England in the warm-up fixtures. Hence, they have some issues to address. However, one shouldn’t ignore their knack of shining in ICC events.

Pakistan dominate New Zealand in terms of overall head-to-head record in T20Is. These two teams have played 24 T20I matches so far.
