Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings are slated to lock horns in Match 10 of the Pakistan Super League 2020 at the Multan Cricket Stadium. Sultans, who clinched a six-wicket victory against Peshawar Zalmi, are poised at the top of the points table by gathering four points in three matches. After restricting Peshawar Zalmi at a total of 123 runs, Sutalns cruised to the target in the 15th over on the back of impressive batting display by Rilee Rossouw (49) and Khushdil Shah (43).

Karachi Kings, on the other hand, failed to dazzle against Quetta Gladiators in their previous match. After gathering a total of 156 runs on the board, Karachi Kings’ bowling attack failed to defend the total against a strong Gladiators’ batting attack.

Gladiators’ skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed (37) and Azam Khan (46) took the match away from Kings as they hunted down the target with six deliveries to spare. Kings, who are currently sitting on fourth place by gathering two points from two games, will be aiming to register a win and climb up the points table.

Pitch and Conditions

The track at Multan Cricket Stadium is expected to go in favour of bowlers due to the overcast conditions. There are slim chances of rain to intervene in the match but it won’t affect the length of the match. The temperature is expected to hover between 15 and 28 Degree Celsius throughout the day according to Accuweather.

Ali was given the responsibility to open the innings in the previous match but he failed to dazzle at the top. Sultans are also equipped with a strong bowling force that consists of Shahid Afridi, Imran Tahir, Mohammad Irfan and Sohail Tanvir.
