Age 41 years, 183 Tests, 194 ODIs, and 19 T20Is. James Anderson is still going strong in international cricket. The Burnley-born cricketer debuted for England 21 years ago in December 2002 and is ageing like a fine wine as he continues to dominate batters around the world with his swing bowling. Anderson has had a few injuries over the years but despite that he recovered swiftly and did not miss being part of the game for a long period of time.

The 6'2" bowler has now stopped plying his trade in white-ball cricket (last match being in 2015) and that is one of the reasons for his longevity in the international arena. Anderson is currently part of the England squad which is touring India for a five-match Test series and is likely to play a key role in the team's endeavour to win the series.

The Lancashire lad has scalped 690 wickets in whites and is currently the third-highest wicket-taker in the format. He averages 26.42 and has 32 five-wicket hauls and three ten-wicket hauls to his name in Tests. Anderson has also been an effective bowler in ODIs, taking 269 wickets at an average of 29.22. Meanwhile, the English cricketer has 18 wickets to his name in T20Is.
