One of the most celebrated personalities, both on and off the field, Sachin Tendulkar, is a renowned petrolhead who has had an impressive lineage of car collection, starting from a simple Maruti-800 to a dazzling Red Ferrari. It is a no-brainer to infer about Sachin’s fetishes for cars and automobiles.

The Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has reportedly sold off his Nissan GT-R to a prominent automobile enthusiast and collector in Mumbai. This is not the first time Sachin has decided to trade off his prized possessions. The iconic Indian batsman also ended up vending off his Red Ferrari 360 Modena to a businessman in Surat to purchase a rare edition of Nissan GT-R. Only John Abraham and Formula One racer Narain Karthikeyan owned the car in the country apart from the protagonist of Sachin: A Billion Dreams.

The highest run scorer in Tests as well as in the ODIs is also the brand ambassador for BMW (Bavarian Motor Works). Therefore, there’s no surprise to know about the exquisite fleet of cars from the automobile giants, the Little Master possesses. His extravagant garage boasts luxury cars such as BMW M5 (E60 and F10), AUDI Q7, BMW M5 “30 Jahre M5” Limited Edition, BMW M6 Gran Coupe, BMW X5 M50d, BMW 760Li (7-Series), BMW i8, and BMW 750Li M Sport.

The headrests on his cars are custom stitched ‘ST’ logos. Apart from BMW cars, the 44-year old has also had a fascination for Mercedes cars and has previously owned Mercedes-Benz SL600 and Mercedes-Benz C36 AMG. The Mumbaikar stole all the headlines after legendary Grand Prix racer Michael Schumacher presented Sachin Tendulkar the Ferrari 30 Modena.

Sachin Tendulkar’s fetish for cars originated when he bought his first Red Maruti 800 in 1989 when he was selected into the Indian Team. Back in those days, owning a car was considered as luxury and Sachin was one of the first few to purchase the car, even if it is considered a common man’s car now.
