Sakshi Dhoni gives a fitting indirect reply to RPS owners for disrespecting MSD

Just as quiet former Indian skipper MS Dhoni is, his wife Sakshi Dhoni is equally vocal about her opinions. MS Dhoni has been largely targetted by a handful of people on the social media. Dhoni is currently playing for the Rising Pune Supergiant in the IPL 2017. His willow has been quiet and he had a very poor outing leading the RPS team in the tournament last year. It was under his leadership that the team had finished at the penultimate position in the points table.

This year, the RPS owners shocked everyone by sacking MS Dhoni as the captain of the team. For a player of his stature, who has led Chennai Superkings to two title trophies, this move was largely disrespectful. Despite all this, Dhoni showed his sportsman spirit and has been a part of the roster in the RPS camp this season. After Steve Smith – the newly appointed captain – led the team to their first win this season, Harsh Goenka posted a harsh message.

Harsh Goenka is the brother of the RPS owner Sanjiv Goenka. He had posted a tweet about the RPS win. He noted that it was right move from the owners to appoint Smith as the captain. Smith showed who the real lion of the jungle is. Such words were only an indirect hit at the former skipper Dhoni. Things did not end just there. He came back at his new low when he tweeted again after the second game.

He posted stats about the strike rates of all the RPS batsmen. The list showed that Dhoni had the least strike rate. Clearly, his continuous disrespectful tweets aimed at Dhoni seem very unsporting. While the fans got infuriated at such tweets, Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Dhoni seems to be bit let down as well. Recently, she posted two updates on her social media handle to give a fitting reply to the RPS owners.

The first post was with a Chennai Super Kings helmet. She clearly reminded all that Dhoni is worshiped like god in the CSK camp. He has been the most prolific leader in the tournament history and CSK definitely know his real value. The second update was a quote about Karma. She said that the people might be powerful now but time does change. She rightly noted that one must be humble and respect all individuals.

The quote read from Sakshi Dhoni, “When a bird is alive, it eats ants. When the bird is dead, ants eat the bird. Time and circumstances can change at any time. Don’t devalue or hurt anyone in life. You may be powerful today, but remember, time is more powerful than you. One tree makes a million match sticks but only one match is needed to burn a million trees. So be good and do good.”
