Social Media was once again buzzing with updates from cricket stars. Ravichandran Ashwin was involved in a discussion with journalist Rajdeep Sardesai over Jonny Bairstow's controversial dismissal in second Ashest Test at Lord's while England batter Ollie Pope expressed his disappointment on being ruled out of the Ashes with an injury.

Sanath Jayasuriya congratulated Sri Lanka's women captain Chamari Athapaththu for topping the ODI batting rankings. Meanhwile, former India cricketer Aakash Chopra shared a video calling out England's hypocrisy for Spirit of Cricket. Further, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese was delighted with the victory of both Australian men's and women's team in the Ashes and said that the country is right behind them.
