The fervent adoration for the former Indian skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, knows no bounds, even though he bid adieu to international cricket in 2019. Following his retirement, Dhoni embarked on a new venture in the entertainment domain by establishing "Dhoni Entertainment Pvt Ltd" in collaboration with his wife, Sakshi.
Though Dhoni has relinquished international cricket, he remains an integral part of the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL). This year, he steered the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to a historic fifth IPL title.
The maiden offering from Dhoni Entertainment Pvt Ltd, titled 'LGM - Let's Get Married,' is a captivating romantic comedy starring the talented ensemble of Harish Kalyan, Ivana, Nadhiya, and Yogi Babu. The film, a Tamil production, saw its grand release today.
Sakshi, MSD's wife, who has been actively involved in promoting the movie, was accorded a heartwarming reception at Chennai's illustrious Rohini Silver Screens. The jam-packed auditorium echoed with chants of "Dhoni, Dhoni" during the first show itself.
Sakshi made the most of the momentous occasion, clicking a selfie with the elated fans, including the lead actors Kalyan and Ivana.

Dhoni's cinematic leap from cricket glory to silver screen triumph
Directed by Ramesh Tamilmani, 'LGM - Let's Get Married' has also reached the Telugu audience, expanding its reach beyond linguistic boundaries. Despite being a private individual, MS Dhoni made a notable appearance at the LGM event in Chennai. Interacting with the crowd, he engaged in jovial banter with comedian Babu, adding a touch of mirth to the affair.
The transition from cricketing glory to the glitz of the silver screen reflects Dhoni's versatility and indomitable spirit. As the audience eagerly embraces his cinematic endeavour, it becomes evident that Dhoni's allure transcends the boundaries of sportsmanship. Now it will be quite interesting to see if MSD can get the same amount of success in his new venture that he has enjoyed in his cricket career.
