India and Australia are all set to take on each other for the World Test Championship final (WTC) 2023 at the Oval in London from June 7. Team India lost the inaugural WTC final when they took on New Zealand, and after making back-to-back finals, the Rohit Sharma-led side would be keen on winning the title in 2023.

Ahead of the much-awaited clash against Australia, the Indian team has kicked off their preparations for the clash. The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) recently took to Twitter to share a video of India’s training session ahead of the WTC final.

In the video, the Indian team can be seen undergoing a fielding drill with coach T Dilip. The players were divided into two groups, where they were seen practising different types of catches, including high catches and close-in catches as well.

"Energy levels high. Upping the intensity with each session ahead of #WTC23. #TeamIndia," the BCCI captioned the video.

The entire Indian contingent has assembled in London

The Indian players started leaving for England after their respective franchises were eliminated from the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. The side left for London in batches, with Axar Patel and Shardul Thakur being among the first players to depart for England.

Furthermore, as the IPL has concluded, the entire Indian squad has assembled and is currently training for the much-awaited clash. There could be several players who prove to be key to India's winning the game. The performances of Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara, Mohammed Siraj, and Ravichandran Ashwin could be essential if the side is looking to become WTC champions.

With a plethora of options in their line-up, the Indian team seems to be well prepared to face the Pat Cummins-led Australia, and the rigorous training sessions could work wonders for the side in their quest to become champions.
