India's hopes will be pinned on Virat Kohli as they strive to win their third ODI World Cup later this year. He is currently in Sri Lanka, playing in the Asia Cup. The Delhi batter is one of the most adored cricketers in the world. No other cricketer has more followers than Kohli across all his social media handles.

A recent behind-the-scenes clip of a promo featuring Virat was viral on social media. Another popular figure, Shehnaaz Gill, who acted in Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's most recent film, 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan', was also a part of the promo shoot. Shehnaaz became a household name after her stint in Big Boss 13.

Kohli seemed to have enjoyed himself a lot while shooting the promo as he listened to the directors with a lot of attention. Shehnaaz, on the other hand, was sporting a quirky hairstyle, doing some interesting stunts, while being held by a safety harness. The video was shared by renowned photographer Viral Bhayani. This ad campaign is speculated to be of Star Sports. Virat and Shehnaaz weren't captured in the same frame but fans loved seeing them doing a promo shoot together.

Virat Kohli is the only player in India's 15-man squad who was also part of India's 2011 World Cup-winning unit

Virat Kohli played his first World Cup for India in 2011. He was only 22 years old back then. The youngster scored a century on his World Cup debut against Bangladesh in Mirpur and continued making vital contributions throughout the tournament. India eventually won the ODI World Cup after 28 years.

Earlier this week, India announced their 15-member squad that will take part in the ODI World Cup 2023. Virat Kohli is the only player in this side who was a part of the 2011 World Cup-winning team. The 34-year-old will be eager to win the World Cup once again after enduring two heartbreaking semifinal losses in the 2015 and 2019 editions of the marquee event.
